Clean beauty according to NUXE

Our vision of clean beauty is based on a continuous improvement approach to our formulas. From the rigorous sourcing of our raw materials to our formulation charter, we offer you the best balance between naturalness, efficacy, sensoriality and environmental footprint, without compromising safety.

Here are the choices we've made:

• Our formulas contain a high percentage of ingredients of natural origin.
• We use only vegetable oi, which are one of the hallmarks of NUXE, because we are so convinced of their benefits for the skin and hair. We do not use mineral oils, which remain inert on the skin's surface without providing any real care.
• No synthetic dyes are used in our formulas*.

• We do not use ingredients of animal origin, with the exception of products derived through bees (honey, beeswax, propolis). 100% of our NUXE products are therefore vegetarian, i.e., they contain no animal ingredients. 90% of our products are also vegan (formulated without ingredients or derivatives of animal origin).
• We avoid certain ingredients by choice: there are no sulphates in our shampoos, and no silicones in our hair care products.

Skincare products systematically tested under dermatological control

NUXE has always been a brand rooted in the rigour and quality of standards of the French pharmacy, a guarantee of safety. In accordance with current regulations, all NUXE skin care products are subject to a safety assessment report by an independent toxicologist. Our products are systematically tested under dermatological control. These clinical tests are carried out by approved independent laboratories, in the presence of a dermatologist who notes the level of effectiveness of products and checks that there are no adverse reactions when used under real conditions.

Our Development team calls on the best talents to create unique fragrances, selecting the most exquisite and safest molecules adapted to the area of application.  As some people may be allergic to fragrance molecules (just as others may react to natural molecules, as in the case of food allergies), we identify them transparently in our ingredient lists, in accordance with applicable regulations.
