It is not just UVB rays that are responsible for sun damage to the skin: UVA is just as harmful as it leads to the formation of excess free radicals. The NUXE Sun patented filter system combines 2 esters and 3 organic filters ⁽²⁾ with proven effectiveness on all UV rays (UVB + short UVA + long UVA). Extracts of Rice and Rosemary are added to help prevent premature photoaging of the skin by combatting free radicals.

FORMULAS TESTED IN MARINE LIFE CONDITIONS
The NUXE Sun formulas have been tested in marine conditions on aquatic species (freshwater algae, marine water algae, corals, etc.). The ecotoxicity tests were conducted according to recognised or standardised methods (NF EN ISO 11348-3, NF EN ISO 10253, OECD 201, OECD 202 and OECD 236). The water-resistant⁽⁴⁾ formulas reduce the amount of sunscreen washed off when swimming. The sunscreens have been rigorously selected to limit their impact on the marine environment.
